Large Performance Pads

 The DJM-S7 boasts 8 large Performance Pads on each channel for rapid firing of Hot Cues and samples. The independent pad modes enable you to use two different features simultaneously – one on each channel’s set of pads.

Large effect levers

The DJM-S7 features large effect levers that enable you to twist sounds and add creative effects on the fly. With 22 built-in Beat FX from the DJM-S11, as well as software effects in Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, you can take your sound manipulation to the next level. The OLED display shows the name and beat value of the effect you’re using, and you can easily change the six effects assigned to the FX Select buttons.

Sync sound and visuals seamlessly

Just pair your phone with the DJM-S7 via Bluetooth and drop sounds straight into your set. Play loops to scratch over or use a music app to play a track requested by someone in the audience. Plus, keep your mobile device connected as a backup in case your laptop fails. Play the sound directly through the master output or either of the channels for ultimate flexibility in your performance.

The effects section of the DJM-S7 includes Loop MIDI, a powerful feature that allows you to control various functions in your DJ software. Simply set a beat cycle and Loop MIDI will repeatedly send a MIDI signal to control functions such as Hot Cue, sampler, and key shift-up. With preassigned functions, you can start using Loop MIDI right away to take your performances to the next level.

Loop MIDI Pattern A is a powerful feature in the DJM-S7 that allows you to create a build-up by gradually shortening the beat cycle of a snare sample playing in a loop. With this feature, you can add an extra layer of excitement to your performances.

With Loop MIDI Pattern B, you can easily raise or lower the key of your deck 1 or 2 track, activate sampler slot 1 or Hot Cue 1/A, or mute the deck for added control of your DJ set.

The unit includes 6 buttons for selecting effects. You can assign internal effects (Beat FX), DJ software effects (software FX), or Loop MIDI functions to the buttons. There are 22 Beat FX to choose from including Fader Pitch and Helix.

Loads a selected track to the unit. Press twice to load a track that's loaded to another deck on which you're pressing the [LOAD] button.

Plays a loop of the specified number of beats or starts Auto Beat Loop. Press while pressing the [SHIFT] button to turn a loop on or off.
