Analogue synthesizer with Dave Smith sound

Experience the ultimate analogue sound with the TORAIZ AS-1, created through a close collaboration with Dave Smith himself. Perfect for both professional and aspiring producers, this synthesizer offers unparalleled creative possibilities.

Renowned Prophet-6 inspired analogue sound

Inspired by Dave Smith’s renowned Prophet-6 synthesizer, the AS-1 features the same analogue filters and 2 voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO) with continuously-variable triangle, sawtooth, and pulse wave shapes. Sculpt your sound using the 2 voltage-controlled filters (VCF), including a 4-pole resonant low-pass filter that can self-oscillate, and a 2-pole resonant high-pass filter.

Fully programmable

With full programmability, the TORAIZ AS-1 allows you to create your own unique sounds using 2 VCOs, 2 VCFs, VCA, 2 EGs, and 1 LFO. Save each sound and its parameter settings as a program and easily access it later to bring your musical vision to life.

495 programmable presets

The TORAIZ AS-1 features 495 programmable preset sounds, each with a unique 64-step sequence that can be edited individually. Additionally, users can save up to 495 of their own customised sounds in the 5 user banks.

Duel engine with Prophet-6 FX

The TORAIZ AS-1 features a dual FX engine that includes effects derived from Dave Smith Instruments’ Prophet-6 synthesizer. You can use a single effect or pair two together to add extra texture to your sounds. The available effects include Bucket Brigade Delay, Distortion, Ring Modulation, Chorus, and Maestro Phaser. Get creative and shape your sounds with these powerful effects.

Keyboard & scale mode

The TORAIZ AS-1 enables you to perform your own unique sounds with ease using the touchpad-style keyboard. Harmonise your performance further by using the Scale mode to change the notes assigned to the keys, ensuring perfect harmony every time.

Perform with dynamic changes using the slider

The TORAIZ AS-1’s slider allows you to add dynamic changes to your performance by manipulating seven different parameters. Adjust the pitch of two oscillators, control the amount of effects, and more with ease.
